Google Survey: 39 Percent Of Smartphone Owners Use Their Devices In The Bathroom

Amazingly only 39% of people actually admitted in a recent survey that they take their cell phone into the bathroom.

So roughly 4 out of 10 people had the guts to admit it. I would venture to say that it could easily be more than double.

The article goes on to mention several key observations.

  1. 95% are looking for local information
  2. 61% call a business
  3. 59% visit a business
  4. 44% make a PURCHASE!
  5. 88% of the searchers take action within a day!

So what are we doing to be in front of these people that want our product or service!

SEO is important aspect of any marketing plan. But it is becoming more and more obvious that there should be a strong mobile element to any local business’ marketing strategy.
